Data Deletion Request

Prosthetic Brain (Karasu Software) — Last updated: July 2026

Prosthetic Brain does not have a Karasu Software account, login, or user database — see the Privacy Policy for full details on what the app stores and where. Because of that, most of your data can be deleted immediately and entirely by you, without contacting us at all. This page covers both that self-service path and the one case that does require a request to us: data you've optionally uploaded to Karasu Software's cloud storage.

Data you can delete yourself, right now

Data that requires a request to us

Two features optionally send end-to-end-encrypted data to Karasu Software's Azure cloud storage — only if you actively use them:

Shared checklistsIf you share a checklist with another device, the checklist content (encrypted) is stored so it can sync between devices, tagged with a random per-install device identifier. This data can be updated to remove data yourself, but the container does still hold the connecting data between you and the other user.
Feedback / bug reportsIf you use "Provide Feedback" in the app, your description, optional screenshot, and any logs you chose to attach (encrypted) are uploaded, tagged with a random per-install device identifier and a random submission ID

Neither is tied to your name, email, or a Karasu Software account — there's no login to self-serve deletion from, so we fulfill these requests manually. Use the form below (or email us directly) and include enough detail for us to find the right records.

What we retain, and for how long: Shared-checklist data is kept only while the share stays active on at least one device, and is deleted from our storage once you leave/delete the shared checklist or ask us to. Feedback/bug reports are retained only as long as needed to investigate the issue you reported, then deleted. We keep no other backups or copies of either. We do not retain anything for local, on-device-only data, since it is never sent to us.

Request deletion of cloud-stored data

Submitting opens an email to owner@karasusoftware.com with these details pre-filled — review it and hit send from your own email app. You can also just email us directly at that address with the same information.

We process verified deletion requests, and reply to confirm, within 30 days.

Children's privacy

Prosthetic Brain is not directed at children and is not knowingly used to collect personal information from children under 13.
